Portfolio – Egrets in Dispute

I had packed up my camera and was bicycling home from the wetlands when I noticed a lot of activity among the egrets. So, I dismounted, unpacked the camera, and started taking pictures. As usual, I didn’t know what was going on but kept shooting. A birding friend later determined that the birds were having a territorial dispute.
